Family friends and team guidelines

Family teams can include family members and family friends. Before family and friends team members can be entered, a team must be created. Select "Create a Team" to create a family and friends team.

Any number of team members can register for your Family and Friends team. Male and female runners will be combined for team scoring.

The times of the top three finishers will be combined to score each family team. The lowest combined three times will determine the winning Family team.

Team Captains/leaders will receive a confirmation that your team creation request is approved within 24 hours.
Instruct your fellow team members to:

1. Go to www.irsih5k.com
2. Select "Register"
3. Select "TEAM registration"
4. Enter the username/password that your captain/leader created for your family team.
5. Complete the team member form.

Note: Make sure you also let your other family and friends know your family team userid and password. It's that easy. You will need a credit card to complete registration.

Corporate team guidelines

Employees, part time employees and family members of employees are also allowed to run for a corporate team.

Consultants can also run with corporate teams.

Male and female runners will be combined for team scoring.
The times of the top three finishers will be combined to score each corporate team. The lowest combined three times will determine the winning Corporate team. 

Team Captains or leaders need to register team and receive approval before teams members can sign-up. 

Keep you userid and password simple. Create a simple userid and password with no spaces or special characters.

Team Captains/leaders will receive a confirmation that your team creation request is approved within 24 hours. 


Corporate Teams Payment

Most corporations pay the entry fee for their employees to participate in the team races.  The team registration process also supports each individual team member paying with their own credit card.

Contact your personnel/human resources department to see if your company will support a corporate team. 

Once your company approves your request, communicate with all employees in your company via email. 

In your company wide email, simply instruct your co-workers to follow the 5 steps outlined above.

Your corporation will be billed by the Irish 5K after the race. 

We understand that it can be a challenge to get a corporate check prepared before the race so this policy will allow team leaders to focus on recruiting runners.

Pub team guidelines

Any number of team members can register for your Pub team. 
Male and female runners/walker will be combined for team scoring.

MUST BE 21 OR OLDER TO BE A MEMBER OF A PUB TEAM. 

The times of the top three finishers will be combined to score each pub team. The lowest combined three times will determine the winning Pub team.

Team Captains/leaders will receive a confirmation that your team creation request is approved within 24 hours.

Gym/Health Clubs TEAM GuidElines


Any number of team members can register for your Gym/Health Clubteam. 
Male and female runners/walker will be combined for team scoring.

The times of the top three finishers will be combined to score each pub team. The lowest combined three times will determine the winning Pub team.

Team Captains/leaders will receive a confirmation that your team creation request is approved within 24 hours.

Charity Teams Guidelines


Charity team are groups of participants that group together to raise funds for their cause. Donation made it addition to the entry fee will be donated to the charity selected.

The race will provide official race hats for all donations of $15 or more. After the race, the charity team leader will receive a report of all donations made to the charity. Any number of runners can be on a charity team. The times of the first 3 finishers on the team will used to score the team.

Bonus offer: All participants that register for all three races before the first race on March 3, 2012 will receive a one of a kind "Tour de Patrick" hat.

All participants that register on or before the 3rd of March (date of the first Tour de Patrick 5K) will have their times tracked and overall position scored in the overall Tour de Patrick. This information will be posted and updated after each race.

Participants must register for all 3 races on or before the date of the first race to be scored and tracked in the overall Tour de Parick. Tour participants will have the same race number assigned throughout the Tour de Patrick.

The Tour de Patrick Green Jersey will be presented to the overall winners at the conclusion of the first race to become the Tour de Patrick leaders. Lowest overall time for all 3 races will be declared Tour de Patrick Champions.
